Aptive is seeking a Social Media Manager with demonstrated experience in social media strategy. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy that is integrated with their overarching communications and outreach efforts to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense Comptroller (OUSD(C)). This individual will determine platforms stakeholders use and where discussions occur; create products ideal for sharing on standard channels and innovative sites and optimize platforms to promote interaction; use materials and messages distributed, tracked and evaluated through digital properties to gather real-time feedback; conduct regular reviews of communications and campaign performance; and make changes based on results to ensure messages and delivery mediums are effective and resonate with target audiences.
This mid-level full-time position is remote. This is a contingent hire position.
The Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) (USD(C)) is the Principal Staff Assistant and advisor to the Secretary of Defense for budgetary and financial matters. The Director, Human Capital and Resource Management (HCRM) serves as the principal assistant to the USD(C) for the following responsibilities: provide mission-enabling services to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) (OUSD(C)), including resource management, personnel, facilities, and correspondence control; and manage DoD-wide Financial Management (FM) workforce development.
