Aptive is seeking a Clinical SME to work on federal projects involving Medicare payment. The Clinical SME shall possess experience in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, and/or medical practice. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Medicare program, particularly a high-level understanding of coverage and payment rules, and some experience with the review of Medicare claims. It is preferable that the clinician also have experience with adult learning theories and/or change management models.
This senior level, full-time position is located in Alexandria, VA. This position may also be remote.
CPI’s mission is to identify and combat fraud, waste, and abuse within CMS programs. The office conducts targeted outreach to promote and educate stakeholders on program integrity while detecting fraud, waste, and abuse and preventing improper payments in CMS programs.
