Aptive is seeking a Graphic Designer with proven experience developing a variety of traditional and digital creative materials to support a federal client with IT-related communications strategies and services. Tasks will include developing simple publication designs and graphic design development for large-scale communications and outreach campaigns for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Graphic Designer will produce deliverables that help communicate complex topics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Work products include, but are not limited to, web and presentation graphics, fact sheets, posters and flyers, branding templates, infographics, social media and blog visuals, and logos and icons. The Graphic Designer will also assist with defining and influencing strategy and work directly with clients to create concepts and develop designs. He/she must not only lead/support creative development but work and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive problem-solver and action-oriented team player. He/she must be committed to providing superior service, poised in a fast-paced environment and have a positive and flexible attitude.
This is a full-time position in Washington, DC, with potential for remote work with client approval. This is a contingent hire.
