Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a Change Management Analyst to support enterprise human capital program strategy and support services within the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This individual will support change management activities using an established approach to help the customer achieve stated goals and objectives. Tasks may include supporting the evaluation of system functionality and subsequent development of change management plans and strategies, implementation of major change initiatives, risk assessment, organizational transformation, and culture change.

 

This position is a full-time, contingent hire.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks requiring the knowledge and skills for a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition within a large, complex organization with numerous programs and projects.
  • Support the completion of change management assessments and change management strategies; identify and manage anticipated resistance; create actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan.
  • Support client directors/managers with high-level, cross-functional focus and assistance.
  • Support the integration of change management activities into the project plan.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness; manage stakeholders; track and report issues; define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Perform routine and ad-hoc change management tactics to meet customer needs.
  • Assist in developing and conducting stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, and implementation planning, and provide input on the associated risks resulting from the change activities in the organization.
  • Deploy change management industry best practices, such as Prosci®/ADKAR to follow a human-centered design approach to achieving the customer’s needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a large/complex human resources environment and/or government setting.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Understanding of Prosci® change practitioner training curriculum, preferably with practical human resources experiences and examples in change management.
  • Ability to analyze technical information and communicate results, issues, risks, and impacts in a concise manner to a diverse audience.
  • Strong in communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information, and communicating potential conflicts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Ability to interact and engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Minimum of an active Secret Clearance or Tier 4 Public Trust
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large, complex federal agencies; ideally OPM.
  • Prosci® Change Management Certification and completed/or in the process of completing Prosci® Advanced Practitioner training.
  • PMP certification.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and work well with others.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Capable self-starter with a drive to achieve goals and a high attention to detail.
