Job Summary

Aptive Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Informatics Analyst to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in optimizing operational programs and business processes. As a Senior Informatics Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in clinical informatics and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive organizational change.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Program Analysis and Evaluation: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs within the VHA healthcare setting.
  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyze source data to assess the effectiveness of programs and business processes, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods to derive actionable insights.
  • Data Manipulation: Effectively manipulate data to present program status and performance metrics, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Recommendations: Make recommendations for improving business processes based on data-driven insights, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with program implementation and operation, developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure program success.
  • Agile Methodologies: Demonstrate proficiency in SAFe's Lean Agile principles and practices, driving value and sustaining organizational change through the empowerment of high-performing Agile teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program analysis, data analysis, or informatics, with relevant experience in a Veterans Administration healthcare setting.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey program status, recommendations, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with SAFe's Lean Agile principles and practices, with a demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and operational excellence through Agile methodologies.

  • PMP Certification
  • Masters Degree
