Job Title: Board-Certified Radiology Physician Services

Location: Lexington VA Medical Center 1101 Veterans Dr, Lexington, KY 40502

Period of Performance: At least one year

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST. On-Site.

• This role may involve shifts that are not finalized at the time of hire. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and openness to a broad range of scheduling possibilities.
• Candidates selected for this role are expected to disclose and coordinate any additional employment to avoid conflicts with assigned shifts.

Position Description:

1 FTE (2080 hours) Board Certified Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Physician Services

• Medical professional specializing in the use of imaging technologies to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Radiologists use tools like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy to obtain images of the inside of the body. Based on these images, they interpret and analyze information to aid in diagnosis.
• Interventional Radiologists additionally perform minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance. These procedures are often used to treat a wide range of conditions, including cancers, blockages in blood vessels, and internal bleeding, among others.

Requirements:

• Medical degree, Residency training.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Interventional Radiology, PET/CT, MRI, CT, US
