Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) – Multiple Sites
Contract Period: Base Year + Three Option Years
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Hourly: 32.00/hr-45.00/hr plus 4.93 for Health and Wellness

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by providers.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team.
• Assist in wound care, specimen collection, and patient education.
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.
• Provide support for medical procedures and assessments.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and VA policies.

Qualifications:

• Active LVN license in any U.S. state.
• Minimum one year of LVN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration and patient care.

Knowledge of VA policies and healthcare standards preferred
