Job Summary

Aptive is looking for a Growth Operations Associate — a curious, tech-savvy self-starter ready to support Aptive’s business development engine. In this role, you’ll monitor key platforms for new opportunities, help qualify leads, manage and analyze our pipeline, and explore how AI and automation can enhance our growth strategy. This is a great fit for someone passionate about federal consulting, growth operations, and AI-driven workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

Market Monitoring + Opportunity Sourcing

  • Track and review new federal contracting opportunities (e.g., SAM.gov, GovWin, eBuy, etc.)
  • Conduct initial qualification and alignment checks based on Aptive’s capabilities
  • Summarize and log opportunities into Aptive’s CRM with clarity and context

AI + Research Enablement

  • Use AI tools to research agencies, incumbents, requirements, and trends
  • Experiment with AI agents or custom workflows to monitor, extract, and flag leads
  • Collaborate with Blue Spark Labs on new tech-enabled workflows

CRM + Pipeline Insights

  • Maintain and organize opportunity records in our CRM (currently Pipedrive)
  • Build lightweight dashboards and reports to track pipeline health and movement
  • Surface insights that support BD strategy and decision-making

Collaboration with Teammates

  • Proactively collaborates and communicates with Senior Leadership, Account Leaders, and Growth staff
  • As directed, uses established checklists to conduct quality reviews on work products

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, public policy, tech, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of professional experience (federal consulting, federal growth, business development, or operations preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of government contracting
  • Passion for using AI and technology to introduce efficiencies in the growth lifecycle
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as highly refined attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a larger growth team
