Job Summary

Artemis and Aptive are seeking a full-time Survey Task Lead with a strong background in project management, research, data analysis and survey best practices to support and execute efforts for a federal client. The ideal candidate must be a problem-solver who works well both independently and as part of a team and is comfortable receiving and implementing feedback on project tasks. This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing and analyzing surveys to gather valuable feedback for a large customer satisfaction contract for the federal government.

 

The Survey Task Leader role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience managing a large-scale survey design and implementation, client relationships and internal teams. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

 

This is a contingent hire position.

 

This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop a survey methodology for data collection, analysis and reporting of findings related to customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the development of surveys from concept to execution, ensuring questions are clear, unbiased and aligned with research objectives.
  • Ensure survey projects adhere to ethical and legal standards, particularly in terms of privacy, confidentiality and Paperwork Reduction Act regulations.
  • Identify key performance indicators for surveys that will measure changes in behavior, adoption and perception.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research methodologies, best practices and industry trends and apply them to enhance survey design and data collection.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand research goals, provide expert guidance on survey design strategies and address client-specific requirements.
  • Review and refine existing survey instruments, making recommendations for improvements in question wording, response options and overall structure.
  • Assist in the analysis of survey data, providing insights and actionable recommendations based on survey results.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of survey instruments to minimize errors and bias.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in survey design best practices and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience.
  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of survey instrument/item design and testing.
  • Experience related to traditional testing of surveys, constructs and items required.
  • Proven experience testing questions, wording and materials using focus groups and cognitive interviews as well as human-centered design and human-computer interaction.
  • Knowledge of survey response layout format and translations, methodologies and testing.
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
