Job Summary

Aptive seeks an experienced Process Improvement Analyst to support the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).

Primary Responsibilities

The Process Improvement Analyst will enhance administrative, business, and operational workflows through structures analysis, planning, and technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate has experience streamlining federal business processes, is comfortable with SharePoint and Power Platform tools, and can lead discovery sessions and process mapping initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and improve decision-making. They have excellent communication and collaboration skills and are able to work independently and across a wide variety of technical and non-technical teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting process improvement, operations management, or program analysis; preferably in a federal agency or healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Power Platform applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing and redesigning administrative, business and operations management processes to increase efficiency and standardization.  
  • Strong interpersonal and written communications skills; able to coordinate closely with stakeholders to understand bottlenecks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience leveraging SharePoint, Power Automate, and PowerBI to develop automated workflows, digital trackers, and performance dashboards.
  • Ability to document workflows, procedures, and recommendations in support of continuous quality improvement.
  • Experience developing centralized workspaces and knowledge repositories, standardizing practices and promoting best practices across teams.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black belt or other project or change management certifications strongly preferred.
