Job Summary

Aptive seeks an experienced Senior Analyst to support FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) Accelerating Rare Disease Cures (ARC) program. This position will contribute high-level analytical, strategic, and documentation support across initiatives that advance rare disease regulatory science, internal governance, stakeholder engagement, and program evaluation.

Primary Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has FDA and/or rare disease expertise and brings deep experience in federal health programs, project tracking, stakeholder analysis, and evidence-based reporting. They are highly organized and systematic in their project work and exceed client expectations with high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in federal health program analysis, strategic support, or regulatory documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Public Health, Policy, Life Sciences, or other related field.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for a variety of audiences, including technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power Automate, or PowerBI (or similar).

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven ability to support large, cross-functional teams while maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience synthesizing complex technical, regulatory, and programmatic content into briefing materials, summary reports, white papers, and presentation decks.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, decision logs, etc. and support the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for governance and cross-center collaboration.
  • Experience supporting strategic communication efforts by developing materials for internal and external audiences, including newsletters, fact sheets, and leadership updates.
  • Ability to assist in designing and implementing metrics and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting the preparation of logic models, summary dashboard, and recommendations for program improvement.
  • Experience using SharePoint and Power Platforms (e.g., Power Automate and Power BI) to collect and visualize performance data.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communications skills; comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
