Job Summary

Aptive seeks an experienced Senior Analyst to support the development and analysis of educational programs, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and regulatory communication strategies under FDA’s Accelerating Rare disease Cures (ARC) program. This role supports the Rare Disease Team (RDT) and the Rare Disease Innovation Hub in advancing innovative, science-based solutions for rare disease drug development.

 

The ideal candidate has FDA and/or rare disease expertise. They are highly organized and systematic in their project work and exceed client expectations with high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and data synthesis skills, tailored to technical, regulatory, and educational audiences.
  • Experience conducting landscape analyses, data collection and data analysis to identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Adept at developing evidence-based insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to support large, cross-functional teams while maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementation User Acceptability Testing (UAT) and feedback mechanisms for written and visual content.
  • Experience developing metrics, surveys and data tracking systems to evaluate content impact, usage, and uptake of information.
  • Experience supporting communication and dissemination efforts by contributing to the development of materials (e.g., FAQs, newsletters, fact sheets, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and written communications skills; comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in federal health program, regulatory or policy analysis.  
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Public Health, Policy, Biomedical Sciences, or other related field.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including survey design, interview facilitation and data visualization.
  • Must meet U.S. residency requirement (3 of last 5 years) and be eligible for Public Trust clearance.
