The VHA Suicide Prevention Interagency Management Support Contract (TOPR 0224) provides program management, evaluation, and communications expertise to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP). This contract strengthens VHA’s ability to coordinate interagency suicide prevention initiatives, oversee national strategies, and expand support for Transitioning Service Members (TSMs). The team provides disciplined project management, rigorous evaluation, and actionable reporting to ensure VA leadership can advance suicide prevention outcomes across federal, state, and community partners.
The Project Manager is the single point of contact for VA on contractor performance and deliverables, with responsibility for planning, initiating, executing, and closing out large-scale interagency programs. This role manages day-to-day execution of the PWS tasks, coordinates deliverables, and ensures risks, milestones, and dependencies are tracked. The Project Manager develops and maintains the Project Management Plan, produces Gantt charts to track timelines and interdependencies, and provides updated reports to VA leadership. Deliverables include progress reports, Gantt-based project tracking, leadership reports, and coordination of interagency activities. The Project Manager facilitates regular meetings with the COR and PM, validates strategic planning assumptions, and ensures documentation is updated in VA-approved systems such as SharePoint or Box.
