Job Summary

Aptive is seeking support the Mission Daybreak 2.0 contract to support VA’s Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovation Ecosystem. The program builds on VA’s innovation and human-centered design frameworks to rapidly test, evaluate, and scale solutions that reduce Veteran suicide. Aptive’s team will manage a portfolio of innovation projects, coordinate governance and reporting, deliver evaluation and research insights, plan stakeholder and engagement events, and support the development of scalable training and communications products.

 

Primary Responsibilities

The Program Analyst – Sr. (Analytics/Reporting) is responsible for producing high-quality reports and data products that inform program performance. This role designs and maintains dashboards, compiles metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyzes survey results. The analyst prepares weekly and monthly reports for VA leadership, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and actionable. They will also support biannual surveys and reporting cycles, collaborating with data specialists to ensure data quality and timeliness. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings in a way that supports decision-making at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 8 years of experience in program analysis and evaluation.
  • Proven experience analyzing large healthcare datasets and program outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare management reports and recommendations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with federal healthcare program performance management.
  • Strong skills in KPI design and dashboard reporting.
  • Familiarity with VA data systems and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI reports which may feed into reports (PowerPoint executive presentations) or other types of Microsoft tools.
