Job Summary

The VHA Suicide Prevention Interagency Management Support Contract (TOPR 0224) provides program management, evaluation, and communications expertise to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP). This contract strengthens VHA’s ability to coordinate interagency suicide prevention initiatives, oversee national strategies, and expand support for Transitioning Service Members (TSMs). The team provides disciplined project management, rigorous evaluation, and actionable reporting to ensure VA leadership can advance suicide prevention outcomes across federal, state, and community partners.

Primary Responsibilities

The Program Analyst Sr provides advanced program analysis, reporting, and project management support. Deliverables include high-level reporting on interagency activities, preparation of leadership briefings, development of project management artifacts, and support for risk and issue tracking. Oversees quality control of reports, develops and manages project tracking tools, and synthesizes updates for leadership-level decision-making. The Senior Analyst also leads coordination of task trackers and PM tools, provides quality control for junior analysts, and ensures reporting is consistent and accurate across the program.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of analytical or project management experience.
  • Strong writing and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise project management tools (Smartsheet GOV, MS Project, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of interagency collaboration, suicide prevention, or behavioral health programs.
  • Familiarity with VA program offices or large integrated healthcare systems.
