Job Summary

Aptive seeks an Analyst to support Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s One-FDA initiative. This Analyst will support efforts to improve performance management, through the use of data, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI). The Analyst will contribute to initiatives that enhance transparency, streamline contracting, and improve operational decision-making through the development of dashboard, process automation, and AI/ML integration. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, an interest in emerging technologies, and experience supporting process improvement or data-driven decision-making in federal or large-scale organizational environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify opportunities for improving operational performance.
  • Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for leadership.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and recommend solutions to address inefficiencies.
  • Support the evaluation and integration of AI/ML tools to streamline processes such as records management and redaction.
  • Contribute to the testing and validation of AI-enabled tools to ensure accuracy, compliance, and usability.
  • Collaborate with technical terms to document workflows and support human-in-the-loop process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting organizational change, program management, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, business administration, information systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data and visualizations.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Must meet U.S. residency requirement (3 of last 5 years) and be eligible for Public Trust clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with federal agencies or science-focused organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications, data visualization tools, or performance dashboards.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting or procurement processes.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Exposure to process improvement frameworks.
