Job Summary

Aptive seeks an experienced Analyst to join our team in support of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s One-FDA initiative. The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting program management, operational planning, information assurance, and quality assurance efforts. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, have strong organizational skills, and are eager to contribute to impactful federal initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, coordination, and tracking of milestones and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as work plans, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Assist in monitoring progress, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to keep projects on track.
  • Contribute to continuity of operations planning to ensure mission-critical functions remain effective during transitions or emergencies.
  • Support risk assessments and help identify strategies to strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Assist in implementing practices that protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
  • Support security and compliance activities related to information systems, networks, and program operations.
  • Contribute to monitoring activities and reporting to ensure adherence to federal standards.
  • Apply best practices to ensure all deliverables are accurate, complete, and compliant with requirements.
  • Support process reviews, audits, and quality checks across projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to workflows and documentation standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting projects, programs, or federal initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, information systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Must meet U.S. residency requirement (3 of last 5 years) and be eligible for Public Trust clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with federal program management, information security, and/or continuity planning.
  • Experience supporting health or science-focused government agencies.
  • Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks or quality assurance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for leadership.
