Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a full-time Functional Specialist with demonstrated experience managing an online repository of advertising and marketing materials. This individual will be responsible for operating the repository, coordinating Steering Committee logistics and materials, managing user accounts, and processing service requests through completion.

 

The Functional Specialist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in communications, federal consulting, and repository management. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

 

This is a contingent hire position.

 

This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities for the Steering Committee. Notify selectees and communicate committee participation, coordinate meeting logistics, prepare meeting agendas and presentations, facilitate meetings, review and update evaluation forms, contact organizations to review results and next steps, and send meeting notes.
  • Manage User Requests. Manage all requests for Media Center assets (e.g., ads, photos, materials), review and approve new accounts, conduct annual review of user accounts, check for talent and use fees before processing requests, provide production services to create new assets, manage an existing email box to answer questions, and more.
  • Manage Media Center Assets. Identify assets that address relevant health topics, work with Steering Committee to review assets, acquire master or native files of assets, upload files to Media Center, conduct an archiving process, and more.
  • Assist with other Media Center and administrative activities as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
