Job Summary Aptive Resources is seeking an experienced Program Associate to provide fulltime project management support on a national cancer registry effort supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this role, the Associate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale effort providing Oncology Data Specialist–Credentialed (ODS-C) support to address VA’s backlog of oncology cases.
Primary Responsibilities The Program Associate will support the Program Managers in vetting ODS-C candidates, ensuring timely onboarding, supporting access to VA’s EMR and abstracting software, providing detailed monthly reports, and contributing to process improvement.
Minimum Qualifications Qualifications • 3+ years of project management experience for complex initiatives, preferably in support of federal or private health • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, health sciences, business administration, project management, or a related discipline). • Demonstrated ability to support large, cross-functional teams, including communications professionals, technical staff, and subcontractors, while maintaining clear, effective written and verbal communication with federal stakeholders. • Familiarity with VA systems, policies, and directives
