Aptive Resources is seeking a Junior Biomedical Technician to support to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM). This role provides hands-on technical support for medical and telehealth equipment used to deliver care to Veterans across a distributed healthcare network. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and program leadership, the technician will assist in ensuring that medical devices and telehealth systems are properly installed, maintained, and functioning safely and effectively to support clinical operations and virtual care delivery.
Key responsibilities include assisting with the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of biomedical and telehealth equipment; troubleshooting technical issues; and supporting routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. The Junior Biomedical Technician will help document system configurations, maintenance activities, and issue resolution, while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements. The role also involves coordinating with clinical staff, IT teams, and vendors to support equipment readiness and operational continuity, as well as contributing to inventory management and lifecycle tracking of medical devices across supported sites.
