As a Project Manager supporting the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) under the Elevated Risk Care Management initiative, you will serve as the single contractor point of contact for VHA programmatic requests, overseeing the full lifecycle of a large-scale, mission-critical program aimed at improving care coordination and outcomes for Veterans at elevated risk. This role operates within a complex federal healthcare environment and requires close collaboration with VA clinical leadership, program offices, and cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the OSP's life-saving mission. Your work directly supports the Department of Veterans Affairs' commitment to reducing Veteran suicide through structured, evidence-informed care management solutions.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader who thrives in a highly regulated, mission-driven environment and brings a structured yet adaptive approach to managing competing priorities across large, matrixed organizations. You are a proactive communicator and relationship builder who can translate complex federal requirements into actionable project plans while maintaining accountability across all stakeholders.
Serve as the single contractor point of contact for all VHA programmatic and operational requests related to the Elevated Risk Care Management program, ensuring timely and accurate responses to government stakeholders.

Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation including project charters, integrated master schedules, risk registers, status reports, and stakeholder communication plans in accordance with federal program management standards.
Coordinate and facilitate regular program reviews, working group meetings, and briefings with VA leadership, CORs, and cross-functional teams to track progress, surface risks, and drive resolution of programmatic issues.
Monitor program performance against established KPIs and deliverable milestones, identifying variances and implementing corrective action plans to keep the program on track and compliant with contract obligations.
Support continuous process improvement efforts by identifying operational inefficiencies, documenting lessons learned, and recommending evidence-based solutions that enhance care management delivery for Veterans at elevated suicide risk.
Minimum 4 years of experience managing large-scale programs or multi-project portfolios within a large corporation, government agency, or healthcare organization, including full lifecycle management from initiation through closeout.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Business, or a related field required.
Demonstrated experience supporting a federal agency or large healthcare organization, with preferred familiarity with VA, VHA, or other federal health program operations, compliance requirements, and stakeholder engagement norms.
